Champion Design is a local, family-owned and operated landscape design and maintenance business, in operation since 2008. With over 25 years of experience in customer service and a background in Landscape Architecture, our talents and abilities provide the perfect combination for a quality service and design business.  We are a small, family business that believes in helping local people create their ideal landscapes. 

Mia Champion Velasco was born and raised in West Sonoma County.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Landscape Architecture.  She began designing in 2003 with small landscape architecture firms in Southern California and the North Bay.  In 2008, she began Champion Design, her own landscape design firm that offers the customer one-on-one service.  Mia has a great eye for design and pays attention to the details of a project. 

In March of 2017 Mia’s uncle, Greg Champion, retired from 25 years in the landscape maintenance business. Mia, along with her son, Marcus Champion, and with the support of her husband, Celso Velasco, continues to provide quality service to his customers, as well.
